Victor Sit

Victor is a pioneer in the industry, having established the first licensed boarding kennel in Hong Kong with swimming facilities called Pet Oasis back in 2003. Pet Oasis was the largest dog hotel in Hong Kong, offering a wide range of services such as swimming, grooming, training, boarding, breeding, pet relocation, quarantine kennels, event venue hire, and pet food retail. Victor retired in 2018 and now divides his time between Canada and Hong Kong, focusing on his own dogs, pet relocation, and home boarding business.

With over 40 years of experience as a kennel owner and breeder, Victor has worked with thousands of dogs from various breeds, providing training, showing, and relocation services. His extensive knowledge of canine behavior, welfare, and breeding is recognised by the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department of Hong Kong, where he served as a valuable board member of the Animal Welfare Advisory Group and Dogs and Cats Classification Board for six years (2007-2013). He was also the Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Kennel Association (1981-1985 & 1993-2016).

Victor's passion lies in German Shepherds, as evidenced by his co-founding of the German Shepherd Dog Club of HKSAR (Member of WUSV) in 1981. Throughout the years, he has taken up the roles of Honorary Secretary and Vice President.
