Importing Pets to the United Kingdom:

Requirement and Timeline

Preparation Time: Minimum 1 month
Microchip: Ensure your pet is microchipped.
Rabies Vaccination: Administer at least 21 days before entry and no more than 1 year prior.
Blood Tests for Rabies: Required only for countries not officially listed.
Tapeworm Treatment: Mandatory for dogs only.
Manifest Cargo: Pets must enter as manifest cargo.
Pet Travel Scheme: Pets must travel within 5 days of your entry.
Animal Health Certificate: Required for travel.
Great Britain Pet Health Certificate: Necessary documentation.
TOR (Transfer of Residence): Required for relocating pets.
