Importing Pets to Australia:

Requirement and Timeline

ISO Microchip: Ensure your pet is microchipped.
Rabies Vaccination: Administer a rabies vaccination within the required timeframe.
Rabies Antibody Test: Conduct a rabies antibody test to ensure adequate immunity.
Blood Tests: Required tests may include Leishmania, Leptospira sv. Canicola.
Parasite Treatment: Internal and external parasite treatments must be administered.
Health Certificate: Obtain a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian.
Import Permit: Secure the necessary import permit.
Quarantine: 10 days minimum.
