Victor Sit is a pioneer in the pet industry, having established the first licensed boarding kennel in Hong Kong, Pet Oasis, in 2003. Renowned as the largest dog hotel in the region, Pet Oasis offered an array of services, including swimming, grooming, training, boarding, breeding, pet relocation, quarantine kennels, event venue hire, and pet food retail. After retiring in 2018, Victor now divides his time between Canada and Hong Kong, focusing on his own dogs, pet relocation, and home boarding business.

With over 40 years of experience as a kennel owner and breeder, Victor has worked with thousands of dogs across various breeds, providing training, showing, and relocation services. His extensive knowledge of canine behavior, welfare, and breeding is widely recognised, having served as a valuable board member of the Animal Welfare Advisory Group and the Dogs and Cats Classification Board for six years (2007-2013) under the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department of Hong Kong. He also held the position of Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Kennel Association for multiple terms (1981-1985 & 1993-2016).

Victor's passion for German Shepherds is evident in his co-founding of the German Shepherd Dog Club of HKSAR (Member of WUSV) in 1981, where he has served as Honorary Secretary and Vice President.
