Melody has had a deep love for animals from a young age.

From a young age, Melody Fork has nurtured a profound love for animals. Growing up with two black cats as siblings and surrounded by numerous German Shepherds owned by her uncle Victor, she spent much of her childhood understanding dogs at the kennell. This experience equipped her with valuable skills in handling dogs with challenging behaviors, including those rescued by her uncle. Over the years, she has amassed a wealth of knowledge about animal behavior and emergency situations, working with a diverse range of dogs and cats.​

Melody discovered her passion for horse riding, which blossomed into a lifelong pursuit after she moved to the UK at fifteen. She pursued a BSc in Equine Science  and Thoroughbred Management, followed by an MSc in Business Management and Marketing, focusing on the pet industry as she aspired to become a business owner. Her three years at the Hong Kong Jockey Club provided her with invaluable experience in customer service, event management, and guest relations with international visitors and horses attending the Hong Kong International Races.

Melody's current priority is to reunite families with their beloved pets and make pet travel more accessible to owners.

Today, Melody's primary mission is to reunite families with their beloved pets and make pet travel more accessible for all owners. She is a strong advocate for promoting and enforcing stricter animal welfare regulations in Hong Kong. Melody envisions expanding Global Paws beyond a pet travel company, fostering responsible pet ownership and creating a community that prioritises animal well-being through education, awareness, and advocacy initiatives. Ultimately, her goal is to cultivate a world where responsible pet ownership is the standard, and pets are treated with the kindness, care, and respect they deserve.
